Mika Piirainen is in charge of designing the Ritva Falla collections. Piirainen is widely known for his minimalistic and original style, as well as for the special attention he pays to the practicality of the garments he designs. Before Piirainen, Ritva Falla was the designer of her own name brand collections and the first collection was launched successfully in 2009/10. The target group being, as it remains today, women who appreciate high quality and perfect design.
The Ritva Falla shop is located on Korkeavuorenkatu in Helsinki. In addition to the shop, the multiform space includes place for design, a show room and even a small pop-up photo shooting studio. Our other shop location is in the Iso Omena shopping center in Espoo.
The collection is also sold by different retailers all over Finland, as well as e.g. in North America, Germany and the Netherlands. You can find our main resellers in the “Retailers” section of our website.
Mika Piirainen
Mika is the head designer of the brand. He designs new styles and prints, as well as creates the colour palettes for the collections.
Sanna Laine
Sanna, together with our head designer Mika Piirainen, is responsible for the design and product development of the new collections. Sanna is also in charge of marketing materials for the collections and updating the visual look of our website.
Malla Haapanen
Malla has control of the entire brand’s production chain, its functionality, responsibility issues and quality criteria. Malla is also closely involved in the technical development of the products.
Jaana Boman
Jaana is an area manager, who also works as a store manager for the Korkeavuorenkatu brick-and-mortar shop, and is responsible for the visual appearance of the brand.
Mimmi Pentikäinen
Mimmi is the store manager of the Iso Omena shopping center shop. Mimmi assists in marketing activities and keeps our social media channels up to date.
Tarja Leskinen
Tarja is the contact person when you want to resell our products. Tarja is responsible for reselling the collections in Finland.
Ursula Ilmes
Ursula is responsible for selling the collections, e.g. to North America, Nordic countries and the Netherlands, and coordinates all activities of the company.
Michael Hoppe
Michael is our agent in Germany. He is responsible for the wholesale of German-speaking Europe.
